Frozen Banana & Summer Fruit Smoothie

Cool, refreshing, and naturally sweet—perfect for hot days! 🍌🍉🍑🍈

This vibrant smoothie is the ultimate summer cooler! Using frozen banana gives it a creamy, milkshake-like texture without the need for dairy or added sugar. Combined with juicy watermelon, sweet melon, and ripe peach, this smoothie is refreshing, hydrating, and full of vitamins. A great way to start your day, recharge after a workout, or simply cool down in the heat.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1 ripe banana, sliced and frozen
  • 1 thick slice of seedless watermelon, chopped into cubes
  • 1 thick slice of seedless melon (like cantaloupe or honeydew), diced
  • 1 ripe peach, peeled and chopped

Instructions

  1. Freeze the Banana Ahead of Time
Peel and slice a ripe banana, then place the slices in a sealed container or zip-top bag. Freeze for at least 3–4 hours, or overnight if possible. This will be the creamy base for your smoothie.
  2. Prepare the Fresh Fruit
While the banana is freezing, chop the watermelon, melon, and peach into small chunks. Remove any seeds and refrigerate the fruit until you’re ready to blend.
  3. Blend Until Smooth
In a high-speed blender, add the frozen banana, watermelon, melon, and peach. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of cold water, coconut water, or a few ice cubes to help it blend.
  4. Serve Immediately
Pour the smoothie into two tall glasses. Serve with a straw and enjoy immediately while it’s icy and fresh.

Optional Add-Ins

  • Mint leaves for a fresh twist
  • Chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra fiber
  • A scoop of protein powder for a post-workout boost
  • Lime or lemon juice for a tangy edge

This smoothie is proof that healthy can be both simple and delicious. Perfect for kids and adults alike, and ideal for those long, sunny days! 🌞🥤
